Alfred State Sits in 6th in USCAA Director's Cup Standings

Alfred State sits in 6th place following the winter season in the USCAA Director's Cup. The Pioneers have accumulated 370.5 thus far during the 2015-16 school year.

The Pioneer swimming team won the inaugural USCAA Invitational while the wrestling team finished 4th at the USCAA Invite. The men's basketball team finished the season ranked 15th and the women's team was 16th.

This follows the fall season in which the volleyball (4th), cross country (5th), and women's soccer team (T-5th) all competed at the USCAA National Championships.

Berea (KY) College leads the standings with 486 points followed by Albany Pharmacy (424.5), Rochester (MI) College (421), Maine Fort Kent (391.5), and SUNY ESF (370.5).

Director's Cup points are awarded for number of sport offerings, attendance at the USCAA National Convention, and results from USCAA National Championship events. The final standings from 2015-16 will be publicized following the announcement of the Director's Cup winner during the 2016 USCAA National Convention in Richmond, Virginia on June 6th
