Danielak and Godfrey Honored by USCAA

Alfred State junior goalkeeper Allison Danielak (Brockport) and junior outside hitter Bryanna Godfrey (Tioga) have been named USCAA Players of the Week.

Danielak made 12 saves, including several point blank opportunities, as the Lady Pioneer lost a tough 1-0 decision to SUNY ESF. ESF is currently ranked #3 in the latest USCAA poll. On the year, Danielak is 6-6 with 51 saves and a 1.33 goals against average.

Godfrey led the Lady Pioneers to a 4-0 weekend at the Alfred Tournament, including a win over #3 Maine Fort Kent. She collected 59 digs (4.21D/S), 46 points (3.3 P/S), and 35 kills (2.5 K/S) in the four matches. On the year she has a team high 212 kills. She also has 190 digs ands 48 service aces.

This is the third straight week an Alfred State athlete has been honored by the USCAA.
