Beach, Brown, and Godfrey Earn Garica's Top Cut Athlete of the Week Honors
Nick Beach (Canandaigua), Kiegan Brown (Cortland), and Bryanna Godfrey (Tioga) have been named the Alfred State Garcia's Barbershop Top Cut Athletes of the Week.
Beach won both the men's 1m and 3m diving competition as the Pioneers opened up their season vs. Penn State Behrend. He won the 1m competition with a score of 196.75 and the 3m with 198.00 points.
Brown had career highs in carries (36), yards (235), and touchdowns (3) in the Pioneers contest at Anna Maria. He also caught two passes for 22 yards. He scored TD's on runs of 56, 8, and 10 yards.
Godfrey led the Pioneers, 2-1 this week, with 51 kills (4.64 kills/set). She also added 20 digs and four aces. Versus Cobleskill, she recorded a career best 24 kills.
