Nearly 200 Student-Athletes Earn 3.0 Honors
196 Alfred State student-athletes earned above a 3.0 GPA during the 2017 Fall Semester. 23 of these student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA.
During the fall semester, there were 388 rostered student-athletes and the overall student GPA was a 2.9.
Director of Athletics Jason Doviak is proud of the accomplishments of the student-athletes in the classroom. "The athletic department is extremely proud to recognize so many of our student-athletes for achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher. These individuals epitomize the true meaning of student-athletes and continue to excel both in and out of the classroom. I commend all of these individuals for their hard work and hope to recognize even more student-athletes on their academic achievements this coming semester. This is one of the many ways Alfred State continues to illustrate our commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy.
