Brigman and Henby Named Garcia's Top Cut Athletes of the Week

Emily Brigman (Lancaster) and Jack Henby (Hornell) have been named the Alfred State Garcia's Top Cut Athletes of the Week. 

Brigman had a solid performance at the Cortland Multi. Brigman finished the event with 2,815 points which puts her in 5th on the all-time list. After scoring 577 points in the high jump (1.46 m) and 556 points in the 200 m (28.98) yesterday she scored 413 points in the long jump (4.44 m) and 369 points in the 800 (2:59.57). Overall she was 22nd out of 28 competitors in the competition.

Henby had a monster week to lead the Pioneer offense. He hit .643 (9 for 14) with two doubles, a triple, a homer and six RBI. He also stole four bases and scored six runs. He was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI, including a three-run homer, in game two vs. Hilbert on Saturday and he was 3 for 4 in game two vs. Mount Aloysius.
