Alvarado and Richardson Named Garica's Athlete of the Week

Teddy Alvarado (Hilton) and Isiah Richardson (Geneva) have been named the Alfred State Garcia's Barbershop Top Cut Athletes of the Week.

Alvarado had a season high eight points in the Pioneers 16-13 victory over Houghton. He scored six times and passed out two assists. On the year he has 22 goals and six assists.

Richardson was the latest Pioneer to qualify for the ECAC Championships with a pair of strong performances at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic. He qualified for the ECAC's with a 5th place finish in the discus (37.80 m) and in the long jump with a 7th place finish (6.37 m).
