Alfred State Celebrates Homecoming This Week

Alfred State is excited to host Homecoming 2018 fesitivities this weekend. The college is excited to have a weekend of fun with current students, alumni, and parents. New in 2018 is the Pioneers Challenge which features nine competitions throughout the week with the top teams earning a share of $2,500 in prizes. Activities begin on Thursday with the blue & gold dinner at the Terrace and the start of the Pioneer Challenge. The Spirit Rally (bonfire, Pioneer Challenge competitions, and food) and Alfred's Got Talent highlight the activities on Friday evening. A jammed pack day of athletic events are slated for Saturday afternoon and evening. Make sure to check out the Pioneer football team at Noon as they take on Maritime - All tickets for the game are $2. A post game tailgate will be served in the parking lot outside the stadium and visitors will be able to check out some soccer action or head into the Orvis Auditorium to see magician Daniel Martin to wrap up the day.
