Madison Webster and Albert Senyah honored by the ACAA

Webster and Senyah Earn ACAA Honors

Alfred State senior volleyball player Madison Webster (Corning) and senior men's soccer player Albert Senyah (Long Island/Central Islip) have been named ACAA Offensive Players of the week.

Webster had a big weekend at the Lycoming Tournament. She recorded double-doubles in all three matches. In a 3-2 victory over Penn State Altoona she finished with 18 kills and 22 digs, in a 3-1 loss to Medaille she had 17 kills and 17 digs, and in a 3-0 loss to Lycoming she shad 10 kills and 12 digs. She also recorded five service aces on the weekend. For the week she averaged 3.75 kills, 4.25 digs and 0.42 service aces per set.

Ashley Hintz of SUNY Delhi was named the defensive player of the week.

Senyah was part of three of the Pioneers four goals on the week. He recorded an assist in a 2-2 tie vs. St. John Fisher and then was part of both goals in a 2-0 win vs. SUNY ESF. He scored the opening game-winning goal on a PK and set up the insurance goal with a beautiful touch pass Senyah leads the team in scoring on the year.

Noah Raisanen of Finlandia was named the men's defensive player of the week.
