Cirigliano and Spencer Named Athletes of the Week

Jennifer Cirigliano (Patterson/Brewster) and Owen Spencer (Perry) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.

Cirigliano had a solid day as the western equestrian team wrapped up the regular season. Riding in the beginner competition she was 1st in the AM show and 2nd in the PM show.

Spencer had a solid all-around week as the Pioneers finished 2-1. He averaged 11 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, and 5.33 assists per game. He shot 48% from the field and 57.1% from three. He had eight rebounds vs. seven assists vs. Delhi, scored 14 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and passed out six assists vs. Albany Pharmacy, and capped the week with 17 points and 10 rebounds (5 for 7 from three) vs. St. Joseph.
