Slocum and Ziemann Named Athletes of the Week

Isabella Slocum (Hornell/Cal-Mum) and Annaliese Ziemann (Lancaster) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.

Slocum was big in the middle of the court for the volleyball team as they were 1-1 on Saturday afternoon. Slocum recorded seven kills on eight attempts in a 3-0 loss to Pitt Greensburg. In the 3-1 victory over D'Youville, she led the team with 13 kills (.500 hitting percentage). She also added four blocks on the day.

Ziemann was one of four different scorers as the women's soccer team battled Penn State Altoona. The defender finished the game with a goal and an assist.
