Perkins and Clark Named Athletes of the Week

Junior volleyball player Kiara Perkins (Coudersport, PA) and sophomore football player Ronnie Clark (Philadelphia/Indian River) have been named the Alfred State Athletes of the Week.

Perkins was key for the Pioneers in a 3-1 victory over Medaille. She finished the day with 21 kills (.280 hitting percentage), 18 digs, and two service aces. On the year, she leads the team with 163 kills.

Clark had a monster game rushing the ball in the Pioneers Homecoming battle with Anna Maria. He finished the day with 197 yards on 31 carries. His 13-yard touchdown run in the 1st quarter gave the Pioneers an early lead. On the year he has rushed for 342 yards.
