Isabel Mariotti Named Interim Head Swimming and Diving Coach

Director of Athletics Jason Doviak announced the hire of Isabel Mariotti, named new Interim Head Swimming and Diving coach. A welcomed addition to the athletics staff, Mariotti has experience at Niagara University as a Division I student-athlete. Her experience at Niagara University along with her coaching experience in the club and highschool arenas, with Genesee Valley Swim Club and the Wellsville Highschool Women's Varsity Swimming and Diving team, will bring instant value to the Alfred State Swimming and Diving program. Mariotti spoke on her new opportunity at the helm of the program, "I'm excited to get the season started and give the swimmers an opportunity to continue their collegiate swimming careers. We have high hopes for the season and I look forward to seeing the teams succeed."

Doviak spoke on the new hire, "I am pleased to welcome Isabel to our Pioneer family. Her experience as a student-athlete along with the club arena has prepared her well for this position. Her energy, enthusiasm, and work ethic stood out during our interactions, and I am excited for her to lead our program this season. Our teams are poised for success and Isabel will certainly provide them the guidance necessary to achieve both their individual and team goals."

Mariotti will begin her duties immediately, taking the reigns of a swimming and diving program poised to contend for the AMCC Championship.
