Franz Earns AD3I Player of Month Honors

Alfred State senior outfielder Cullen Franz (Cazenovia) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents baseball Student-Athlete of the month for March.

Franz batted .352 (19-for-54) with four home runs, ten RBI and 16 runs scored. The senior had five games with multiple hits and went 2-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs scored in game one against Rutgers-Newark on March 17th. Franz also recorded home runs against Lancaster Bible and Emory and Henry and added five stolen bases during the month.

Franz is currently second in the Association in batting average and leads AD3I with eight home runs.
