Mack Named All-ECAC
Alfred State senior pitcher Garrett Mack (Avon) has been named All-ECAC 2nd team after a stellar final season.
Mack was 5-1 overall with a 2.72 ERA in 59.2 innings of work. He allowed just 45 hits while striking out 53. He held opposing hitters to just a .200 batting average. In AMCC play, Mack was 4-0 with a 1.55 ERA.
During a stretch of six appearances this season (37.2 innings of work), he didn't allow an earned run. During that stretch he threw three straight complete game victories for the Pioneers (vs. Pitt Bradford - 9 IP, 3H, 11 K's, vs. Medaille 9 IP, 5 H, 13 K's, and vs. D'Youville 9 IP, 5H, 10 K's).
Mack finishes his career with a 12-6 record in 33 appearances.
Earlier this postseason, Mack was named the AMCC Pitcher of the Year and 1st team All-AMCC.
