The trio of Alyssa Beardsley (Letchworth), Meaghan Castoro (Syosset), and Rachel von Hagn (Haverling) had a strong showing at the Western Semi-Final Championships held at the Showplex at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. The performances of Beardsley and Castoro earned them a spot at the IHSA National Championships.
Pioneers Ride to Reserve Hi-Point Honors at Regionals

The Alfred State Western Equestrian team rode to Reserve Hi-point honors at the IHSA Zone 2 Region I Championships held a the Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center at Maris Cuneo Equine Park. The Pioneers had a pair of Hi-Point riders and had three riders qualify for the Western Semi-Final Championships.

Nearly 200 Student-Athletes Earn 3.0 Honors

196 Alfred State student-athletes earned above a 3.0 GPA during the 2017 Fall Semester. 23 of these student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA.
Western Equestrian Records Two Solid Shows

The Alfred State Western Equestrian team earned Reserve Hi-Point honors in both the morning and afternoon shows at Saturday's event at the Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center at Alfred University.
