Beardsley and Castoro Compete at IHSA Nationals.

Alyssa Beardsley (Letchworth) and Meagan Castoro (Syosset) represented Alfred State this weekend at the IHSA National Championships in Harrisburg, PA. 

Beardsley finished 9th in the advanced horsemanship competition while Castoro was 11th in the beginner horsemanship. Beardsley had won the advanced horsemanship competition at the Western Semi-Final Championships to qualify for the Nationals while Castoro was 3rd at the same event to qualify.

The AQHA National Champion Team University of Findlay took home the trophy after a stunning victory over talented teams from across the country. Ohio State University was named reserve champion.

The 2019 IHSA National Championships will be held in Syracuse, NY.
