Rylie Van Fleet named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Van Fleet Earns ECFC Special Teams Honor

Rylie Van Fleet (Maine Endwell) has been named the ECFC Special Teams Player of the Week. This is the second time this year, Van Fleet has earned a weekly ECFC honor (Rookie of the Week on October 28th).

Van Fleet started the Alfred State rally from a 17-7 deficit. Early in the 4th quarter he fielded a punt and raced 75-yards for a score to pull the Pioneers to within three. Just over nine minutes later, the Pioneers scored again (1:20 remaining) to earn the victory. On top of his big punt return, Van Fleet registered seven solo tackles, recovered a fumble, and was credited with two pass break-ups.

Anna Maria's Tanner Kingsley (offensive) and Adam Blake (defensive) along with Castleton's Devin Wollner (Rookie) were honored with Van Fleet.

The Pioneers had nine players earn ECFC Player of the Week honors during the season. They had at least one player honored in eight of the 10 weeks of the season.
