Men's Basketball to Host Blood Drive

The Alfred State men's basketball team will continue their partnership with the Community Blood Bank and will host a drive on Wednesday, September 13th. The drive will be held from Noon - 5 p.m. inside the longe of Braddon Hall.

Donors can sign up at fourhearts.org or contact Coach Jerry Jusianiec (jusianjm@alfredstate.edu) to schedule an appointment. Donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card for participating. 

The Community Blood Bank is dedicated to guaranteeing an adequate supply of blood for all patients seeking medical services to our partner hospitals in Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York. Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 with a parental consent form, weigh at least 110 pounds, not received a tattoo or body piercing in the past 12 months, and be in general good health before donating. All donors must have a photo ID as well.

The men's basketball team and the athletic department partner with the Community Blood Bank four times a school year.
