Men's Basketball to Host Blood Drive

The Alfred State men's basketball team has once again partnered with the Community Blood Bank and will host a blood drive tomorrow (9/5). The drive will take place between Noon and 5 p.m. and will be held in the Braddon Hall Lounge. All donors are automatically entered for a drawing to win a Nintendo Switch.

The Community Blood Bank is dedicated to guaranteeing an adequate supply of blood for all patients seeking medical services to our partner hospitals in Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York. Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 with a parental consent form, weigh at least 110 pounds, not received a tattoo or body piercing in the past 12 months, and be in general good health before donating.

The athletic department partners with the Community Blood Bank four times each school year.
