Jordan Named ACAA Athlete of the Week
Senior forward Dante Jordan (New York/Law & Public Service) has been named the ACAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Jordan led the Pioneers with 17 points per game in a 2-1 week for Alfred State. He scored 15 vs. Buffalo State, 10 vs. NYU, and had a monster game with 26 points and 13 rebounds vs. Medgar Evers. For the week Jordan shot 57.1% (20-35) from the field and averaged 7.7 rebounds per game.
Samiaya Salley of SUNY Delhi was named ACAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Alfred State plays their final home game before the Christmas break on Sunday when they host SUNY ESF at 3 p.m.
