A trio of Pioneers finished in double figures as Alfred State was downed by Pitt Greensburg 79-68 on Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcats (13-2, 9-1 AMCC) led throughout the game but Alfred State kept trying to chip its way back into the game. UPG led 34-27 at the half and led by as many as 16 in the 2nd half before the Pioneers rallied but could never get fully back in the game.
Ryan Gentile (Spencerport) led all scorers with 26 points and six rebounds while Markel Edwards (Elmira) came off the bench and finished with 15 points and nine rebounds. Josh Reding (Spencerport) added 12.
Jojo France led the Bobcats with 18 poins while Matt Johnson had 17. Brady Kingston also finished in double figures with 11.
The blue & gold are back home on Monday for a 6 p.m. contest with Penn State Altoona.
