Cazenovia jumped out to a 7-0 lead en route to a 14-4 victory over Alfred State. Joe Delia led the Wildcats (3-3) with four goals and four assists.
Four different Pioneers found the back of the net. Brian Stern (Jordan Elbridge), Matt Chatfield (Myrtle Beach, SC), Keegan Phalen (East Aurora), and John Garbowski (Mohegan Lake) scored while Andrew Delligatti (Bedford Hills) picked up an assist.
Eric Hanover added three goals and an assist for Cazenovia while Brandon Maxson recorded a hat trick. Pat Boyle made 12 saves in net for the Wildcats that held a 44 to 26 shot advantage in the contest.
Alfred State returns to action on Saturday when they host Finger Lakes CC. Opening faceoff is at 1 p.m.
