Cobb Earns AMCC Defensive Honors
Alfred State goalkeeper Matt Cobb (Churchville) has been named the AMCC Defensive Player of the Week after earning his first career victory in net.
Cobb was a huge force in the Pioneers 8-7 victory over Cazenovia on Tuesday. Cobb made 22 saves including three saves in the final five minutes to preserve the victory for the blue & gold. On the year, Cobb has made 43 saves in the first three games of the season.
Jimmy Duffy from Hilbert was named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week.
