Cole Reuben (Akron) scored to make it 8-2 and after two more Wildcat goals Teddy Alvarado (Hilton) found the back of the net. A late goal gave SUNY Poly an 11-3 lead at half.

The Pioneers scored three of the four goals in the 3rd quarter. Branden Dickson (Bath) scored twice and Reuben scored his second of the game. In the 4th, both teams scored twice with Nic Covelli (Carmel) and Eric Passeck (Thomaston, CT) scoring for the Pioneers.
