Crowley and Johnson Named Garcia's Top Cut Athletes of the Week
Nathan Crowley (West Irondequoit) and Joe Johnson (Churchville Chili) have been named the Alfred State Garcia's Barbershop Top Cut Athletes of the Week. The duo was key in the Pioneers 16-3 victory over Medaille on Saturday.
Crowley scored a 1st quarter goal and led the team with 15 ground balls. At the faceoff circle he won 19 of 22 faceoffs. On the year, he has two goals, 53 ground balls and has won 60% of the faceoffs he has taken.
Johnson led the team with six points. He recorded a hat trick and was credited with assists on three other Pioneer goals. Johnson leads the team with 15 points (12 goals and three assists).
