Men's Soccer Wraps up Season in ACAA Championship Game

Daniel Bermudez scored two 1st half goals to lift Pine Manor to a 2-0 victory over Alfred State in the inaugural ACAA Championship game hosted by Maine Presque Isle. The Gators wrap up the season with a 8-9-2 record.

Bermudez got the Gators on the board 29:09 into the contest after getting a pass from Daniel Alanis. He added to the lead just over seven minutes later. The goals were the first two of the season for Bermudez.

The Pioneers outshot the Gators 16 to 15 in the contest. Oscar Estrada made seven saves to earn the shutout for Pine Manor. Jacob Bartz (West Seneca) and Christopher Johannesson (Long Beach) each had two saves for the Pioneers.

The Pioneers wrap up the season with a 6-12 record. The six wins were two more than 2015 and tied the most a men's soccer team has had during the four years of NCAA DIII competition.
