Adesanya Scores in Loss to Buff State

Ade Adesanya (Brooklyn/Progress) scored in the lone goal for Alfred State in a 6-1 loss to Buffalo State on day two of the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational. The Bengals scored all of their goals in the 1st half.

Luke Pavone recorded a natural hat trick with goals in the 10th, 15th, and 27th minute to pace Buffalo State. Danny Clavin scored in the 30th minute and Sofiane Hamadi scored a pair of goals 35 seconds apart in the 35th minute.

Adesanya scored his first goal of the season in the 60th minute and was honored by being named to the all-tournament team. Chris Balys (Holley) also represented Alfred State on the all-tournament team. 

Buffalo State outshot Alfred State 24 to 5 in the game. Andreas Queen earned the win with one save in net.

The Pioneers will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they travel to Pitt-Bradford for a 3 p.m. contest.
