Swimming & Diving Shine in the Classroom
June 24, 2019
Both the Alfred State men's and women's swimming & diving team have earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American team honors following the 2019 spring semester. The men are earning the honor for the 6th straight semester. Teams were selected by the CSCAA's Scholar All-America committee on the basis of their Spring grade point averages and represent a record 480 institutions were named to the list that featured 480 institutions.

Alfred State sophomore Austin Miller (Hornell) competed on the 1m board at the 2019 NCAA Division III Region 4 Diving Championships on Friday at RIT. Miller was one of 23 divers competing.

Austin Miller (Hornell) and Ethan Dale (Lock Haven, PA) lead the Alfred State men's swimming & diving honorees on the 2018-19 All-AMCC Team. The Pioneers finished 2nd at last week's AMCC Championships. It was the second time in the last three years that the men have finished as AMCC Runner-Ups.
