Lewis and Dale Named Athletes of the Week

The Alfred State swimming duo of Kathryn Lewis (Niagara Wheatfield) and Ethan Dale (Lock Haven, PA) have been named the Athletes of the Week.

Lewis won three individual events as Alfred State won the Erie CC Invitational. She won the 1650 free in 20:49.96, the 100 free in 1:07.18, and the 400 free in 5:04.87. She was also part of the winning 400 free relay team. In a meet vs. Ripon (WI) in Florida, she also won the 200 free (2:08.82).

Dale triple individual winner at Erie CC. He won the 100 breast in 1:23.99 and the 200 breast in 2:59.89, and the 200 IM in 2:35.00 as the Pioneers won the team title. He was also part of the winning 400 medley relay team. In Florida vs. Ripon (WI) was 2nd in the 50 breast (31.13) and 3rd in the 50 fly (26.72).
