Pioneers Place Second at AMCC Championships

The Alfred State Men's Cross Country team had the AMCC championship race today at Mount Aloysius. 

The Pioneers finished in second place as a team, scoring 48 points. Penn.- St. Behrend won the championships, placing first, scoring 20 points.

Alfred State had two top-ten finishers, Gavin Bathgate (East Rochester, NY) finished in 2 place with a time of 27:24.4. He was ten seconds behind the individual leader Kody Klein. Andrew Hvisdak (Orchard Park, NY) finished in 9 place with a time of 29:50.2. Maxwell Chiarella (Niagara Falls, NY) just missed the top ten, finishing in 11 place with a time of 30:54.1. Ethan Kuhn finished in 13 running a 31:07.7 time. Aiden Bonomo trailed him, finishing in 16 place with a 31:54.9 time. 

Two more Pioneers finished in the top 20. Kyle Brown ran a 32:04.2 time for an 18 place finish, and Carter Riley ran a 31:55.6 for a 17 place finish.
