Mosier Named All-Region and All-WNYAC

Alfred State softball player Aubri Mosier (Rome, PA/Northeast Bradford) has been named 2nd team All-Region III and 1st team All-WNYAC following a solid freshmen campaign.

Mosier was the offensive leader for the Lady Pioneers.  She finished the season with a .426 batting average (46 for 108), 13 doubles, two homers, and 32 RBI.  She led the team with a .602 slugging percentage as well.

Mosier started in all 34 games for the Lady Pioneers playing LF, RF, 1B, and DH.  She collected hits in 26 of the team's 34 games.  She had 15 multi-hit games, four three-hit games, and collected a RBI in 19 games.  In the middle of the year, Mosier had a 11-game hitting streak.

Region III Division III encompasses 21 schools that compete in softball while the Western New York Athletic Conference has seven softball schools.

Mosier is the first softball player since Angie Depew was named All-Region in 2011.
