Kruger Named Athlete of the Week

Shortstop Stormi Kruger (Medina) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week following an impressive offensive showing this past week.

Kruger was 11 for 14 (.786) this past week in the Lady Pioneers four games.  She collected two triples, 11 RBI, and scored eight runs.  She was also 4 for 4 on the basepaths.  In a sweep of Erie CC, Kruger was 8 for 8 with 6 RBI.

Kruger leads the team with a .556 batting average (35 for 63).  She has three doubles, three triples, and 16 RBI to along with 20 runs scored. 

The Lady Pioneers travel to RIT on Thursday and to SUNY Canton on Sunday as they wind down their season.
