Softball Team to Host Blood Drive Wednesday

The Alfred State softball team has teamed up with the Community Blood Bank to host a blood drive on Wednesday, November 8th. The drive will be held between Noon and 5 p.m. in the Braddon Hall Lounge. All donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card.

The Community Blood Bank is dedicated to guaranteeing an adequate supply of blood for all patients seeking medical services to our partner hospitals in Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York. Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 with a parental consent form, weigh at least 110 pounds, not received a tattoo or body piercing in the past 12 months, and be in general good health before donating.

The athletic department partners with the Community Blood Bank four times each school year.
