The Alfred State softball team split on Monday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida to move to 1-3 overall.
The Pioneers held Wisconsin-Superior (6-0) to their lowest scoring game this season in their 0-3 loss in game one and came back in game two against SUNY Delhi (2-4) to win 9-4.

The Pioneers took a 1-0 lead after Griffith scored off a sac fly from Lauryn Engle (Elba).
Delhi scored two in the fourth for a 2-1 advantage.
Faith Capito scored off a double from her twin sister Felecia Capito in the fourth to tie it.
In the fifth, Engle scored off a single from Beidel, Faith Capito scored off a single from Felecia Capito who scored off a single from Wonica.
Delhi scored two more in the seventh.

Brittany Fisher (Indianapolis, IN/Southport) (1-1) pitched 7 innings and allowed 7 hits, 4 runs, walked 1 and struck out 4.
