Pioneers Finish 14th at Swim Nationals

The Alfred State men's swimming team finished in 14th as they closed out competition at the 2013 NJCAA National Championships in downtown Buffalo.  The Pioneers scored 143.5 points during the four-day event.

Mark Pendleton (Beacon) finished 13th in the 1650 free (18:20.74) to lead the blue & gold on the final day of competition.

Pendleton teamed up with Jacob Drew (Victor), Tyler Easterbrook (Bath), and Josh McDowell (Wayland Cohocton) in the 400 free relay for a 12th place finish (3:36.95)

Indian River State College took home the men's and women's national titles.
