Men's Swim Team Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

The Alfred State men's swimming & diving team has earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) distinction as a Scholar All-America team. 688 teams representing 430 institutions across the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA earned the status by achieving a GPA of 3.0 or greater during the Fall 2017 semester.

The men's team registered a 3.43 GPA during the fall semester. The 3.43 mark is the 10th highest GPA on the male side for NCAA DIII. This is the third straight semester that the Pioneers have earned this distinction. 

Bryce Cutler (Newton, NJ) led the way for the Pioneers with a 4.0 GPA.

The Pioneers are back in the pool in a couple weeks (Feb. 14-17) at the AMCC Championships at Penn State Behrend.
