Track & Field Records Strong Performances at Brockport

The Alfred State track & field team recorded several strong performances at the Brockport Friday Night Invitational. 

Eric Hulbert (Mexico) recorded the best individual finish on the day with a 3rd place finish in the steeplechase (10:29.41). On the women's side, Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool) was 4th in the 10,000 (40:51.75).

Zach Curran (Williamson) was 6th in the pole vault with a leap of 4.50 m, Joe Richardson (Geneva) was 7th in the long jump (6.04 m) and 7th in the triple jump (12.86 m), and Anders Presthus (Lansing) was 8th in the javelin (43.03 m).

The 4x100 relay of Richardson, Nku Henry (Bronx/Cardinal Hayes), Tim Jackson (Buffalo/Charter School for Applied Tech), and Curran was 7th in 45.67.

Holly Fiore (Niagara Falls) was 10th in the javelin (24.07 m), 12th in the long jump (4.84 m), and 17th in the 100 hurdles (18.17). Kimberly Levee (Dansville) was 15th in the discus (27.26) and Cassandra Ryan (Gloversville) was 20th in the 800 (2:37.83).

The team travels to the Widener Invitational next weekend.
