Fiore and Kemsley Earn Garcia's Top Cut Honors

Alfred State outdoor track & field athletes Holly Fiore (Niagara Falls) and Paul Kemsley (Lancaster) have been named the Garcia's Barbershop Top Cut Athletes of the Week. Fiore and Kemsley were key to the Pioneers success at the Allegany County Classic.

Holly Fiore (Niagara Falls) led the way for the women's team. She was 2nd in the 100 hurdles in 19.83 and was tied for 2nd in the high jump (1.38 m). She was also 2nd in the javelin with a throw of 23.88 m.

Kemsley continued his impressive freshmen campaign with three victories in throwing events. In the shot put he won with a toss of 13.64 m, in the hammer he won with a throw of 43.88 m., and in the discus he won with a mark of 45.89 m.
