Caver Named USCAA All-American

Marcedes Caver (Cleveland, OH) has been named an USCAA 2nd team All-American following a solid junior season. Caver led the Lady Pioneers to a 11-10 season.

Sophomore basketball player Helena Covington (Elmira Free) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week. Covington helped lead the Lady Pioneers to a perfect 3-0 week.

Four Lady Pioneers finished in double figures as Alfred State defeated SUNY Canton 70-61 in the regular season finale. The blue & gold improve to 11-10 on the year.

Helena Covington (Elmira Free) hit a jump shot with six seconds left in overtime to lift the Alfred State women's basketball team to a 74-73 victory over Erie CC. The win evens the Lady Pioneers record at 10-10.
