Pioneers Ranked #6 in Latest USCAA Poll

The Alfred State women's basketball team moved up two spots in the latest USCAA Division I poll. The Lady Pioneers are now ranked #6 as they head towards the end of the 2016-17 season.

The blue & gold have won their last three games and four of their last five. Overall the team is 13-7 with three regular season games remaining.

Concordia (AL) still sits on top of the poll with 249 points followed by Berea (KY) College (246), West Virginia Tech (238), Rochester (MI) College (237), and Florida College (229). The Pioneers received 221 points and are ahead of Silver Lake (WI) College Apprentice (VA), Dean (MA) College, and Maine Fort Kent.

The Pioneers play at #12 Carlow on Tuesday and then travel to Maine to take on #10 Maine Fort Kent on Saturday before wrapping up the season on Sunday at Maine Presque Isle.
