Pioneers to Play Pine Manor for ACAA Championship

The Alfred State women's basketball team will take on #2 Pine Manor in the ACAA Championship game on Sunday afternoon. The Gators defeated #3 Maine Presque Isle 82-57 in the semifinals to advance.

All five Gator starters finished in double figures in the victory. Erica Jones had 22 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and six steals while Shaquanda Middleton finished with 20 points and nine assists. 

Amanda Hotham and Rhylee Wright each recorded double-doubles for UMPI. Hotham had 15 points and 13 rebounds while Wright had 13 points and 11 rebounds. 

The #1 seed Pioneers will tip off with Pine Manor at 1:30 p.m. at the Orvis Activities Center.
