Balanced Attack Leads Lions

Penn State Behrend used a balance attack as they defeated Alfred State 81-50 in the AMCC opener for both teams.

The Lions led 19-11 after the 1st quarter and 38-25 at the half. The Pioneers started the 3rd quarter fast and cut the lead to six, 42-36, but they would never get any closer. The Lions went on a big run to put the game out of reach.

Six Lions finished with at least seven points. Kourtney Beamesderfer led the way with 16 points and nine boards while Ashley Seamon recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The Pioneers return home on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. contest vs. D'Youville (please note new starting time).
