Emily Kelley (Andover) led Alfred State with 14 points, 14 rebounds and seven blocks in their 62—48 loss to Houghton College on Friday evening inside Orvis Activities Center.
The Pioneers (4-3) out-rebounded the Highlanders (3-3) 51-46 and recorded a better free throw percentage of 69.2% compared to their 66.7%.
My'ana Davis (Greece Athena) had 11 points, five rebounds and four assists, Calesta Reigelman (Johnson City) added nine points and six rebounds and Skylar Shaulis (South Seneca) had six points and nine rebounds.
Amanda Jackson led Houghton with 15 points, Carlee Miller added 13 and Hannah Roeske had 12.
The Pioneers are back home on Wednesday, Dec. 8 to host Pitt.-Bradford at 5:30 p.m.
