Recently the Alfred State athletic department hosted their annual end of year awards ceremony. The ceremony held in the Cappadonia Auditorium featured recaps of every team, award presentations, and the honoring of the first group of four-year Pioneer student athletes.

Muhleisen Named 1st team ECAC All-Star

Junior midfielder Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) has been named a 1st team All-Star by the ECAC. Muhleisen led the Lady Pioneers to a 9-8-2 record and a second straight trip to the USCAA Nationals Championships.
Muhleisen, Huyler, and Flint Named USCAA All-Americans

Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond), Kaitlin Huyler (Jasper Troupsburg), and Alexis Flint (Arkport) have earned USCAA All-American honors. Muhleisen and Huyler were selected to the 1st team while Flint earned 2nd team honors.

Stephany Ellison recorded a hat trick as Houghton College defeated Alfred State 4-0 in a cross county battle on Tuesday. The Highlanders improve to 7-6-1 on the year while the Lady Pioneers wrap up the regular season with a 9-7-1 mark.
