2017 ACAA Women's Soccer Championships to be held at Valley Forge

Pioneers Earn Top Seed for ACAA Championships

The Alfred State women's soccer team has earned the #1 seed for the upcoming 2017 American Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. The Pioneers will head to Phoenixville, PA the first weekend of November to compete in the inaugural championships.

The Pioneers, who are currently 7-3, will take on the hosts Valley Forge (5-6) at Noon on Saturday, November 4th. The game is scheduled to be played on the Valley Forge campus. #2 SUNY Canton (5-8) will then tangle with #3 Mills (0-9) at 2 p.m. in the other semifinal. The winners of the semifinals will be held at Noon on Sunday (11/5) at Noon.

As approved by the member institutions, due to our geographic footprint the ACAA utilizes the Bennett Rank system published weekly at HeroSports.com for qualification and seeding into the postseason ACAA Championships in each sport except Cross Country. This fall marks the first official NCAA recognized ACAA Championships.
