Lewis Wins a Pair at Oswego

Kathryn Lewis (Niagara Wheatfield) won a pair events as Alfred State competed vs. Oswego on Saturday. The Lakers defeated the Pioneers 173 to 114.

Lewis won the 200 free in 2:07.58 and then won the 500 free in 5:43.04.

Jessie LaRue (Livonia) continued her strong start to her collegiate career. She was 1st in the 100 IM in 1:10.16 and was 2nd in both the 50 back (30.65) and the 100 back (1:06.50).

  • Hannah Snayczuk (Pioneer) was 2nd in both the 50 breast (36.50) and the 100 breast (1:20.33).
  • Alina Kisluk (Hamburg) was 2nd in the 500 free (6:03.32).
  • Payton Armstrong (Monroe Woodbury) was 2nd in the 50 fly (31.77)
  • Leaha Langerman (Wayland Cohocton) was 2nd in the 1 m diving competition (174.65)
  • Sarah Stevens (Wellsville) was 2nd in the 100 IM (1:10.16).

The 200 medley relay team of LaRue, Lewis, Armstrong, and Elizabeth Drake (Lansing) was 2nd (2:05.17) while the team of Kisluk, Snayczuk, Stevens, and Elizabeth Furmanski (Albion) finished 2nd in the 200 free relay in 1:57.87.

The Pioneers host Penn State Altoona in a return to AMCC action next Saturday.
