Pioneers Race vs. Buffalo State & Fredonia

The Alfred State women's swimming & diving team traveled to Buffalo and competed vs. Buffalo State and Fredonia. The Pioneers fell in both ends of the tri-meet. They lost 138-127 to Buffalo State and 161-93 to Fredonia.

Mikaela Snayczuk (Pioneer) led the way for the team. She won the 100 breast in 1:17.21 and was 2nd in the 200 free (2:11.51).

Sarah Stevens (Wellsville) was 2nd in the 50 free (28.07), 2nd in 1m diving (199.73), and 3rd in the 200 IM (2:35.25), Payton Armstrong (Monroe Woodbury) was 2nd in the 100 back (1:10.53) and 3rd in both the 200 back (2:33.16) and the 100 fly (1:11.69), and Alina Kisluk (Hamburg) was 3rd in the 1,000 free (12:21.59), 3rd in the 100 free (1:01.08), and 3rd in the 500 free (5:57.62). Kelsey Lynch (Wellsville) was 2nd in the 200 fly (2:41.67)

The 200 medley relay team of Armstrong, Snayczuk, Lynch, and Kisluk finished 2nd in 2:06.07 to start the meet.

The Pioneers head to Penn State Altoona for a AMCC meet in two weeks (November 16th).
