Pioneers Swim Past Pitt Bradford

Alfred State won all 11 events as they earned their third straight dual meet victory, 123-16, over Pitt-Bradford on Friday evening.

Mikaela Snayczuk (Machias/Pioneer), Alina Kisluk (Hamburg), and Sarah Stevens (Wellsville) were each double individual event winners on the evening. Snayczuk won the 200 free in 2:09.72 and the 100 fly in 1:06.92, Kisluk won the 1,000 free in 12:19.07 and the 500 free in 5:55.90, and Stevens won the 100 free in 1:01.37 and the 200 IM in 2:44.32.

Payton Armstrong (Monroe Woodbury) won the 100 back in 1:10.19, Veronica Boller (Wales/Iroquois) won the 100 breast in 1;21.07, and Kelsey Lynch (Wellsville) won the 50 free in 29.24

The 200 medley relay team of Armstrong, Boller, Elizabeth Jurs (Elba), and Kisluk won in 2:12.35 while the 200 free relay team of Mikaela Snayczuk, Hannah Snayczuk (Machias/Pioneer), Stevens, and Kisluk won in 1:56.48.

The Pioneers are right back in action on Saturday when they travel to Nazareth to take on the Golden Flyers and Utica College. Action is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
