Pioneers Open Season at Houghton
The Alfred State women's indoor track & field team started the 2018-19 season at the Houghton College December Classic.
Highlighting the event for the team was Sophie Gonzalez (Bronx/Kings Park) and Veronica Dailey (Addison). Gonzalez was 4th in the 300 m (42.95) and 6th in the 60 m dash (8.14) while Dailey was 7th in the 1 mile (5:49.06)
Tomorrow the multi athletes will compete at Edinboro to wrap up the 2018 portion of the season. The full team returns to action on January 18th back at Houghton.
