Pioneers Finish Competition at Susquehanna

The Alfred State Women's Track and Field team competed at the Susquehana Easter Invitational.

Summer Kier competed in the 1500 and placed 19th with a time of 6:22.44.

Kyle Brown competed in his second event of the day in the 110m hurdles and finished in 6th place with a time of 19.84.

Adrianna Gill competed in the 100m hurdles race and finished in 1st place with a time of 20.34.

Lawery Edwards ran the 100m race and finished in 9th place with a time of 13,47.

Lily Schnell ran in the 400m and placed 10th with a time of 1:05.10.

Isabelle Popoff competed in the 800m race and placed 8th with a time of 2:30.08.

Lawery Edwards also ran in the 200m and finished in 8th place with a time of 27.66. Madeline Cole also competed in the event and finished with a time of 27.74 for 10th place.

The team of Isabelle Popoff, Lily Schnell, Annaliese Hersom and Lexi Trautwein raced in the 4x400 and finished in 3rd with a time of 4:33.53.

In the field portion of the day, Nicole Hume began with a 9.95m throw in the shot put. Hume's throw was good enough for 5th place. Katelyn Curry also competed in the shot put and placed 7th with a throw of 8.84

Hume also competed in the discus throw and placed 5th with a throw of 30.97m.

Laura Walter competed in the pole vault and placed 5th with a height of 2.65m.

Madison Snayczuk competed in the long jump and placed 5th with a distance of 4.87m.

The Pioneers head to Brockport next weekend to continue their outdoor season.
